Elder Care Respite
While caring for an elderly parent can be a spiritually rewarding experience, the task is
sure to provide caregiver stress and sometimes the more advanced condition of caregiver
burnout. This is especially true for Alzheimer's caregivers. All too often, there is no
supplementary help for these caregivers. So, to provide continuing elderly home care, the
caregiver must have a break, a respite.

My wife and I would head south to the healing waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Sun,
saltwater, swimming, and seafood were the four elements that aided greatly in getting
some rest and recuperation.
